GrossOlympics.
Prepare to be grossed out at this event that celebrates Reuben H. Fleet
Science Center's new exhibit, "Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of
the Human Body." See who reigns supreme with the smelliest sneakers,
loudest burp and longest spitting distance! 10 am-2:30 pm. Registration
starts at 10 am. Open to ages 6-14. Participation in the GrossOlympics is included with gallery admission.
Padres Host U.S. Olympic Team Day at PETCO Park. Join
the San Diego Padres in wishing Team USA athletes the best as they head
to London for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Olympic send-off celebration presents pre-game activities
including an on-field archery demo, an athlete meet-and-greet, an
interactive field hockey exhibition and more. Game vs. the Cincinnati
Reds will start at 7:05 pm.

Live Music, Cool Cars & Kids' Crafts! Listen to Uncle Bob & The Earthmovers featuring Lady J, view an exhibit by the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego, enjoy giveaways and let the kids have fun making their own book bags at Village Walk at EastLake. 5-7 pm. Free admission.
